Grants from The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund to Medfarm

Several researchers at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy (Medfarm) have been awarded funding following the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s decision on project grants, clinical project grants, and grants for medical technology research and development.

In total, SEK 28,978,499 was allocated to childhood cancer research at Medfarm.

Jessica Nordlund, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Medical Sciences and research leader of Molecular Precision Medicine, received two grants. For the project Functional Precision Medicine for Paediatric Leukaemia, she was awarded SEK 3,578,499.

In addition, she received SEK 2,000,000 within medical technology research and development for the project A Machine Learning Method for Molecular Genetic Classification of Paediatric Leukaemia.
