Abstract
Presentation by Sergiy Kurbatov “War in Ukraine: Academic Perceptions” is devoted to the brief analyses of situation in Ukrainian academia after beginning of Russian aggression. Three levels will be covered in the framework of this presentation: 1) national level (briefly); 2) institutional level (education with special stress on higher education) and 3) personal level. The special attention will be devoted to the third level – personal reflections of author, who have lived in Kyiv since the beginning of the war and will share the relevant experience.

Speaker bio
Sergiy Kurbatov, PhD is professor at Department of Sociology Kyiv National Economic University and affiliated researcher at IRES, Uppsala University. Also, Sergiy is an advisor to Presidium of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. His academic interests include quality assurance in higher education, historical transformations of university, research of history through textbooks.
