Join us for the inaugural event of climes, the Swedish Centre for Impacts of Climate Extremes. This event brings together an international community of climate researchers and public and private sectors representatives, with the aim to forge a path for enhanced collaboration. Come to meet the members of climes, learn more about the centre’s goals and roadmap, and share your ideas on how we can ensure a successful start to this exciting journey.
As we embark on this exciting journey, we want to bring together all the minds that will be contributing to the success of climes. This event will be an opportunity for you to meet fellow team members, learn more about the project’s goals and roadmap, and understand how your role fits into the larger picture.
Event Schedule
The kick-off event for climes is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the center’s planned work on impacts of climate extremes. It will feature an introduction to the center followed by scientific presentations and panel discussions on emerging topics in climate impact science, including AI, societal dynamics and impact data usability. We will present perspectives from both the academic and non-academic sectors.
