The Earth's crust is in constant motion and the boundaries between continental plates are the site of many volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. By monitoring movements in the bedrock, scientists can get an overall picture and make risk assessments. What is the current situation around the world? What's happening in Iceland and Japan, and what does the future hold? Join Senior Lecturer Björn Lund for a discussion on how we assess the state of the Earth's crust.
