Each year the Faculty of Science and Technology arranges the Celsius-Linnaeus honorary lectures in memory of Anders Celsius and Carl Linnaeus. This year's Celsius lecturer is Francesco Calegari, Professor of Algebraic Number Theory at the University of Chichago and this year's Linnaeus lecturer is Andrea Rinaldo, Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources at EPFL and Università di Padova.
The Celsius Lecture with following symposium takes place at the Ångström Laboratory, Sonja Lyttkens and starts at 09.00.
The Linnaeus Lecture with following symposium takes place at Geocentrum, Hambergsalen and starts at 13.30.
