E-resource of the Month: Cambridge Histories Online

Cambridge Histories Online contains historical reference works in fields such as art, literature and languages. The database contains more than 400 titles and covers 10 academic subject areas published by Cambridge University Press from the 1960s onwards.

You can search the whole collection or a specific book by subject.

The titles cover a wide range of subjects. Examples include The Cambridge History of Queer American Literature and The Cambridge History of Twentieth-Century Political Thought.

The database is particularly useful for students, researchers and teachers in history, history of ideas and other humanities. It can also be of use to anyone with a general interest in history.
