.webp)
PsycTherapy contains videos demonstrating therapy sessions, which can be used to support clinical training and education.
PsycTherapy is a streaming service that contains more than 300 films demonstrating therapy sessions from the American Psychological Association.
The films are transcribed and show therapy sessions with individuals, couples and families. Nearly 300 therapists conduct the sessions and meet with their clients. Approximately 170 treatment methods are included and more than 300 subject areas are covered.
Therapeutic treatment methods include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Examples of topics covered include social phobia, separation and eating disorders.
You can browse by therapy method and topic, and filter your search by for example the client's gender/gender identity.
The video database supports clinical training and education. It is useful for students and teachers in psychology and psychotherapy programmes.
