Comprehensive encyclopaedia covering all aspects of art and architecture. Grove Art contains articles written by nearly 7,000 international researchers and also includes thousands of searchable images made available through collaboration with museums and galleries.
You can filter your search in several ways. Among other things, you can specify by continent, time period, art form such as drawing, textile art, glass art and dance, to name but a few.
You can take an online tour of unique art collections around the world, such as the Wallace Collection in London and the Guggenheim Bilbao in Bilbao.
Grove Art is relevant for students, researchers and teachers in art history and other humanities subjects. But it is also of interest to anyone with an interest in art.
