Nexis Uni to replace Factiva from 2026

Uppsala University Library's subscription to Factiva will end at the turn of the year. Replacing Factiva as a news resource will be Nexis Uni, which contains a wide range of financial and legal information, among other things.

Nexis Uni contains full-text articles from international newspapers, magazines, news agencies, and TV and radio broadcasts from more than 21,000 sources.

Examples of newspapers included in Nexis Uni are The Guardian, The New York Times, and Al Jazeera, and news agencies included are Bloomberg and Associated Press. The database also contains rulings by the US Supreme Court from 1790 onwards.
