News in the Library’s Digital Collections 2026
As of 2026, Uppsala University Library will provide several new e-book collections, journals, and databases.
The new e-resources are available both in the Library Search Tool and in Databases A-Z. The selection has been made based on purchase suggestions and assessments by acquisitions staff, in dialogue with the relevant departments.
Below is a selection of the new e-resources:
Databases
- Nexis Uni: Contains full-text articles from international newspapers, magazines, news agencies, and TV and radio broadcasts from more than 21,000 sources.
- Serrano: Contains company information from Swedish companies from 1997 onwards. Included in the financial data platform from Swedish House of Finance.
- Statista: Contains statistics, market data and consumer data from more than 22,500 sources.
E-books
- Oxford Handbooks Online: 2025 subject modules in the humanities and social sciences.
Encyclopaedias
- Encyclopaedia of Islam New Edition: Includes the Encyclopaedia of Islam THREE (2007–present) and The Encyclopaedia of Islam Second Edition (1995–2005) with glossary and index.
