Travel back in time to the 18th century, with rustling skirts, shiny shoe buckles and artisan food. Meet researchers and learn about plants, animals, medicine, and museum collections. Join guided tours or go on a treasure hunt. Listen to 18th century music accompanying the dances of the time. Guided tour in English in the garden at 11:30 and 14:30.

There will be also be a craft fair inside the garden.

Free admission all day.

Please be aware that you might have to await your turn to enter the Linnaeus Museum due to limited space.

Life in the 18th century

What was it like, living in Linnaeus’ time? The dance groups Branicula and Grevinnan Brahe are two 18th century societies that wear wonderful costumes and depict life in Linnaeus’ time through games and dance.
