Exhibition with objects found during ten years of walks in nature, composed in frames and display cases by artist Tove Lindström. Open Tuesday–Sunday 11–17. Closed on Midsummer's Eve, 23 June.
The objects have been found in forests, on fens and bogs, in compost heaps, along shorelines, in urban plantings and ditch edges, on small paths and in mountain crevices, in manor parks and small gardens during walks and outings during 2012-2022.
The starting point when composing the finds has been the frames that the artist has found at flea markets and in second hand shops. Some frames have then, if necessary, been converted into display cases. Based on each frame, the artist has selected objects, composition and background so that each individual shape and character is highlighted. The backgrounds in the frames are mainly the back of various old wallpapers and painter's dust sheet papers that were left over when friends repainted at home.
Included in the entrance fee to Linnaeus' Hammarby.
