Guided tours about dinosaurs and their relatives

In Swedish at 12:15, 13:15 and 15:15. In English at 17:15.

The Museum of Evolution has the largest collection of dinosaur fossils in Northern Europe. During our family tour we look at carnivores and herbivores, dinosaurs with horns and dinosaurs with claws. A tour lasts for 30 minutes.

The mineral station

Visit our mineral station and learn about minerals, roscks, meteorites and volvanoes. Examine and compare rocks and crystals and learn about the earth’s crust. The station is open all day.

Crafts

Build your own diorama – a crystal cave, a rain forest or perhas a dinosaur world? We supply the materials and you bring your imagination!

Guided tours about taxidermy and other preserved animals

In Swedish at 14:15 and 16:15. In English at 18:15.

Where do the thousands of animals in the museum come from, how does taxidermy work and why are there so many animals in jars with ethanol? During this family tour we will walk among birds, fish and skeletons. In addition to the exhibited animals we will show some animals in different stages of taxidermy. A tour lasts for 30 minutes.
