New scholarship available to Uppsala University students

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) in New York have announced a second scholarship available to students at Uppsala University.
The scholarship entails a position at the offices of SACC New York for a full year, starting in January 2013.
‘The successful applicant will get the opportunity to gain considerable knowledge of the US business environment and Swedish-American exchanges by working to promote and enhance trade, commerce, and other business relations between Sweden and the United States of America in all possible areas. The Uppsala University Scholar will be assisting the Head of Communications with internal and external communication, both on a strategic and operational level. He or she will also be providing general support to the organization.’
The scholar will also be given the opportunity to represent Uppsala University and American Friends of Uppsala University in New York, as well as working with alumni outreach in the US.
