SEK 65 million to humanities and social sciences research
The Swedish Research Council has decided on their project grants for research in the humanities and social sciences. Uppsala University was grated funding for 18 projects. In total, Uppsala University receives close to SEK 65 million for research in humanities and social sciences.
This year the Swedish Research Council announced the availability of two grants for research in the humanities and social sciences: ‘Project grants’ and ‘Project grants – comparative research’. Of the 1,016 applications received, 110 were granted funding.
Out of the 847 applications for general project grants, 96 have been granted funding. 14 of of these projects are at Uppsala University. For ‘Project grants – comparative research’, 169 projects applied for funding, 14 were granted, 4 of which are at Uppsala University.
In total, SEK 365 million have been granted to projects in the humanities and social sciences. Uppsala University receives a total of just under SEK 65 million.
