Princess Takamado of Japan visiting Uppsala University
Today, 10 June, Her Imperial Highness The Princess Takamado of Japan is visiting Uppsala University and the Museum of Evolution.
During the day, Princess Takamado will meet Vice-Chancellor Eva Åkesson in the reception rooms of the University Main Building and visit the Museum of Evolution. At the Museum of Evolution Princess Takamado will get the opportunity to see Carl Thunberg’s collections of Japanese plants.
Finally, Princess Takamado will have lunch at Uppsala Castle with County Governor Peter Egardt.
Princess Takamado is a member of the Japanese Imperial Family and widow of Prince Takamado.
