The results of the first selection for Uppsala University’s international Master’s programmes autumn 2014 are on their way out to the students. In total, 998 students have been admitted – 22 per cent more than last year.
Last year’s figure was 821. The increase is partly due to the new Master’s programmes in business and management.
The 998 admitted students have been selected from the 7,132 who applied, out of which 3,325 had Uppsala University as their first-hand choice.
486 of the admitted students are non-EU students that are required to pay tuition fees. This figure is 36 per cent higher than last year’s (358).
