New support services for international faculty and staff

As of September 2014, Uppsala University offers extended services to international employees and scholarship holders through the International Faculty and Staff Services (IFSS).
Uppsala University wants to provide the best support possible to internationals and their families for dealing with the many practicalities they are faced with before arrival and throughout their stay.
Host departments will continue to be the primary contact for international employees at Uppsala University, helping out with many of the practical arrangements. In addition, the International Faculty and Staff Services, a part of the Human Resources Division, will offer in-depth information and support both to host departments and directly to international employees and scholarship holders.
