Student volunteer fair to be held in early December

On Wednesday 2 December, a volunteer fair will be held where students can meet with non-profit organisations in Uppsala who are seeking student volunteers.
This autumn, the University launched the project ’Student Volunteer in Uppsala‘ to encourage and facilitate volunteer work among Uppsala students. The project is the first of its kind at a Swedish university.
‘The fair is the first event within the project "Student Volunteer in Uppsala". It will be an inspiring opportunity for students who are interested in volunteer work. If it's successful, we hope to organise similar events in the future,’ says Madelene Rönnberg, project coordinator at the Study Counsellors and Career Office.
The fair takes place at Uplands Nation 2 December at 16-18.
