Today, Monday January 11, the Dag Hammarskjold and Law Library opens in the new premises at Slottsgränd 3. A warm welcome back to everyone, we offer coffee today and are happy to show you around in the new library!
The library has the same opening hours as before: Mon-Thur 8.30-20, Fri 8.30-18, Sun 10-18.
The library has fewer study places than before, but more (not bookable) rooms for smaller groups. Several study places have height-adjustable tables.
For people who do not want to use the stairs or have a disability, we refer to the entrance on the gable facing Trädgårdsgatan where there is a ramp to the 1 st floor (basement). Please contact staff for admission.
Coffee machine and vending machine will be available from Tuesday in the kitchenette on the 1st floor (basement). There are also microwave ovens and seating for you who brings your own food.
We ask for your understanding that everything is not quite finished yet. There will be some noise disturbance during January when we finalize the library. When it is possible, work will take place when the library is closed, but work will also need to be done during opening hours.
