Reunion to be held for wind power management alumni

Recently, an alumni association was founded for graduates and former students of the Master’s programme Wind Power Project Management at Uppsala University and Gotland University. Now, the Gotland WPPM is arranging an alumni reunion in Visby on 3-4 June.
In the first 6 years of the programme, over 80 students have come to Visby, Gotland, to embark on a unique ten-month journey towards obtaining their Master’s degrees. Now, the first Gotland WPPM alumni reunion is set to take place in Visby on 3-4 June. Aside from a chance to mingle and share the challenges and lessons learned from working in the wind energy industry, participants will also have an opportunity to discuss the vision and mission of the Gotland WPPM. A particularly important objective is the recruitment of female students into the wind energy sector.
Future gatherings will take place at major conferences such as ‘Vind 2016 – från inställning till omställning’ (26-27 October 2016, Stockholm) and WindEurope Summit (27-29 September 2016, Hamburg).
