Survey sent to international students
A survey has recently been sent out by email to all international students currently studying at Uppsala University. The International Student Barometer survey investigates the students’ experiences concerning, for example, the application and admission processes, their arrival at the University, their learning experiences, as well as accommodation and support services.
On Thursday 20 October, the survey was sent out to 1887 international students. The survey is aimed at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level students. The International Student Barometer forms part of a wider ongoing study including several universities around the work. The last time Uppsala University took part in the survey was three years ago.
This time a number of Swedish universities will take part, meaning that it will provide the opportunity to make both Swedish and international comparisons. The survey investigates the expectations and experiences of international students, including the application and admission processes, their arrival at the University and their learning experiences, as well as accommodation and support services. We hope that the survey will provide a good basis for further development in many areas of the University.
