More students admitted for spring semester 2017

The first round of national admissions for the spring semester 2017 has now been completed. Slightly more students have been admitted to Uppsala University than last spring. The number of admitted students at Campus Gotland has gone up by nearly 15%.


The first round of national admissions for spring semester 2017 is now done and the results have been published on antagning.se. Admission decisions are being sent out to the applicants shortly. A total of 45,266 students have been admitted to Uppsala University for spring 2017, which is an increase of 1.6% compared to last spring.

6,163 students have been admitted to Campus Gotland – an increase of 14.9%.

The study programmes which require the highest grades:

  • Medicine Programme (21.88)
  • Psychology Programme (21.60)
  • Law Programme (20.83)
  • Dietetics Programme (20.31)
  • Bachelor Programme in Human Resource Management and Working Life (20.05)
  • Bachelor Programme in Business and Economics (20.05)

(The above list applies to applicants with an upper secondary degree without any supplementary qualifications.)
