Stojan Arnerstål has been appointed as an expert by the government in an investigation concerning severe intellectual property infringements. 


Recently, the government decided to appoint a committee to review the need for stricter levels of sentencing for the most severe cases of copyright and trademark infringement. In addition, the committee shall consider whether the special conditions for prosecution of infringements needs to be reviewed. Dag Mattsson, justice of the Supreme Court, has been appointed as the head of the committee.

Stojan Arnerstål at the Faculty of Law, Uppsala university, has been appointed as an expert in the committee. 

The committee shall report its findings no later than 15 February 2018.
