Open seminar on climate change at Campus Gotland
Kevin Anderson, Uppsala University’s second holder of the Zennström Visiting Professorship in Climate Change Leadership will visit Gotland for an open lecture on climate change challenges and to meet with representatives for local authorities.
Kevin Andersson is Professor of Energy and Climate Change at the University of Manchester and Deputy Director at the renowned Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. Kevin is a well-known and established researcher within climate change science who engages frequently with policy-makers, the private sector, civil society as well as the media.
On the 22th of February he will visit Visby to give an open lecture on climate change challenges at Campus Gotland.
The lecture is part of a transdisciplinary seminar series on sustainable development called “Sustainability Talks” - a grass-root initiative where individuals from different faculties at the campus join forces in working towards an open discussion about sustainability with the main objectives to raise awareness in the local environment on Gotland.
Kevin will also meet with representatives for Region Gotland, as well as researchers and students in different disciplines at Campus Gotland.
