Beginners’ course in orienteering for Uppsala University students
The orienteering crash course continues! On Wednesday 30 August at 17:00, the second of five sessions will be held at OK Linné’s club house in Norby.
Here’s a great opportunity to try a popular Swedish sport that challenges both your legs and your brain, while letting you experience Swedish nature up close.
The course is hosted by orienteering club OK Linné in Uppsala and is open (and free!) to all students and employees at Uppsala University. You can take part in single sessions, or all sessions if you like. The maximum number of participants per session is 40, so sign up today if you want to take part.
The upcoming second session will focus on understanding the map and its symbols, and then using that knowledge to find checkpoints from the orienteering wellness projects HittaUt and Naturpasset.
You can find all information about the Crash Course in Orienteering and the different sessions here.
We hope to run into you somewhere in Norby!
