Alumni event with Dr Stefan Swartling Peterson
On 4 December the Uppsala University U.S. Alumni Chapter in New York hosted their last event of the year: an interactive discussion with Chief of Health at Unicef, Dr Stefan Swartling Peterson, about the global health challenges and how to solve them.
Around 40 guests gathered at Mexico Lindo, amidst jolly Christmas decorations, Swedish meatballs, and Mexican margaritas. Participants learned a lot from Dr Peterson’s research and experiences on the field, as well as from each other, and everyone left Mexico Lindo at the end of the evening with new perspectives and new friends.
