Awarded funding for Digital Innovation Gotland
The Department of Informatics and Media at Campus Gotland was awarded funding of 3,6 million Swedish crowns from Region Gotland and The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) to deliver a digitalization project titled Digital Innovation Gotland (DIG).
This project will create an innovative hub for collaboration between local stakeholders in Gotland such as academia, regional enterprises and local government to create synergy between them in a Triple Helix model. DIG will enable participating organizations to create digital products, services, and processes supported by research conducted at the Department of Informatics and Media. DIG will be led by project manager Jonas Sjöström
