New open access agreement with Taylor & Francis

Staff and students at Uppsala University get reading rights to content in the subscription based journals from Taylor & Francis & Routledge and researchers who are corresponding author for an article can publish with immediate open access without additional publishing charges.

Article types that fall under the open access agreement are Original Papers and Review Papers. The authors retain their copyright and the articles are published with a Creative Commons license, CC-BY.

During 2018, the agreement will cover publication charges in subscription based journals published by Taylor & Francis and Routledge, about 2 300 journals. In 2019 and 2020 publishing charges for the pure open access journals will also be covered.

When publishing in journals covered by the agreement don´t choose the extra option “Gold Open Access”, since articles that are eligible will automatically get that status.

When an article has been accepted for publication, the University Library verifies the stated affiliation of the corresponding author. To facilitate this process please specify your affiliation when submitting articles and use your e-mail address at Uppsala University.
