The agreement with the scientific publisher Elsevier has been cancelled. This means that articles published from July 1 2018 are not available via subscriptions.

Articles published between January 1995 and June 2018 will still be available. The University Library's goal is to help researchers and students access articles published from July 1 by  suggesting other available ways to find open articles and through Interlibrary loans when possible.

The library will remove the fee for all article copies ordered by researchers  connected to Uppsala University from 1 July.

Uppsala County Council’s agreement with Elsevier continues to apply, so access to articles for Council employees remains unchanged.

The University Library welcomes all researchers/employees to a briefing on access to research materials, August 22: http://ub.uu.se/about-the-library/courses-and-events/calendar-details/?eventId=36256
