The research funders (the Swedish Research Council, Forte, Formas and Vinnova) pay for half of the publication fee during the agreement period July 2019 - December 2021, and the remaining half is paid by each university.

Imprints included in the deal:

  • BioMed Central (BMC) (313 journals)
  • Springer Open Journals (216 journals)
  • Nature Research (46 journals, including Nature Communications and Scientific Reports)
  • Palgrave Macmillan (1 journal)

How do I proceed as an author?

As an Uppsala University affiliated researcher, you will be identified by the publisher when submitting a manuscript. Further instructions are coming soon.
