New Open Access agreement from July 15 - Springer Nature Fully Open Access
Starting 15 July, researchers at Uppsala University can publish articles without a publication fee in 576 fully open access journals from Springer Nature.
Springer Nature Fully OA is a pilot agreement within the Bibsam Consortium. All content in fully open access journals is freely available and accessible for anyone, without a subscription. The research funders (the Swedish Research Council, Forte, Formas and Vinnova) pay for half of the publication fee during the agreement period July 2019 - December 2021, and the remaining half is paid by each university.
Imprints included in the deal:
- BioMed Central (BMC) (313 journals)
- Springer Open Journals (216 journals)
- Nature Research (46 journals, including Nature Communications and Scientific Reports)
- Palgrave Macmillan (1 journal)
How do I proceed as an author?
As an Uppsala University affiliated researcher, you will be identified by the publisher when submitting a manuscript. Further instructions are coming soon.
