New faces in the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy Management

From 1 July, the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy has new management. Most of the faces are already familiar, but four of the deans are new.
The new members are Karin Forsberg Nilsson, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Mathias Hallberg, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceuticals, Anja Sandström, Deputy Dean for First and Second Cycle Education at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pernilla Åsenlöf, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
Nilsson
“It’s a vote of confidence to have been elected Dean and I’m excited about the assignment,” says Karin Forsberg Nilsson. “The faculty is multi-faceted, but there are a number of common challenges, including strengthening the connection between the University and Region Uppsala. I also look forward to working with recruiting and retaining talented individuals, who contribute to the common target of a strong faculty.”
