COVID-19 report, 27 October

Since the beginning of the 2020 autumn semester, 124 students and six PhD students have been confirmed infected with COVID-19. One of them is a student at Campus Gotland.
Uppsala University is in contact with the infection control unit in Region Uppsala on a daily basis.
During the last week (up to 23 October 2020), 19 new cases were reported. The situation in Region Uppsala remains serious but the trend shows a slight decrease in the number of cases. In Region Gotland, the situation is stable and the trend is downward.
