High School Girls in Digital Uptown Tech
On 21 November, 50 high school girls participated in Uptown Tech, which this year was conducted digitally via Zoom.
The purpose of the event, which is usually organized on site at the Ångström Laboratory, is to inspire and give participants an idea of what it is like to study engineering in Uppsala.

The programme during the event consisted of four different workshops held by the programs in electrical engineering, nuclear technology, IT/data and mathematics. Participants could also watch a panel discussion between three students and an alumnus, join a live virtual tour of Ångström and ask questions about each program during a question and answer session at Zoom.
"We are very happy to have been able to conduct the event digitally and are ready for future digital events! We hope that the participants have had a good experience and look forward to read their evaluations," said Madeleine Jansson and Lovisa Svensson, project managers at the Faculty of Science and Technology.
