Apply for admittance as Excellent Teacher

You can apply if you are a permanent teacher at the disciplinary domain (University Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Professor). You can also apply if you are employed by a Region (e.g. Region Uppsala) or other principal, and are highly active in teaching at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy. The term Excellent Teacher is used for teachers who have achieved a higher level of pedagogical skill.

Your application should include:

• A statement (of a maximum of 25,000 characters including spaces) on how you meet the criteria for admission as Excellent Teacher
• A complete curriculum vitae including scholarly production, a teaching qualifications portfolio and a collaborative portfolio, according to Career Portfolios. Note that the curriculum vitae is a list of your achievements, while the portfolios are more descriptive. For details, please see Career Portfolios.
• References from an educational leader, for example, directors of studies, program coordinators, chairs of program committees or the equivalent, attesting to your achievements.
• A reference from your head of department or operations manager, expressing support for your application.
• Other information that is relevant for your application.
