Prize for best degree project in chemistry

The Chemical Society in Uppsala awards a prize for the best degree project in chemistry and in 2020 the prize will happily go to the Dutch Erasmus student Evelyn Coenen.
The Chemical Society in Uppsala's Grand Prize for best degree project in chemistry 2020 has now been awarded, but without an official award ceremony due to the pandemic. This year's winner is the Dutch Erasmus student Evelyn Coenen, whose degree project was entitled "A Simple Validated Supercritical Fluid Chromatography - Tandem Mass Spectrometry Method for Determination of Endogenous Tocopherols in Human Plasma".
- I really loved my time in Sweden and I especially miss the "real" winter there! I learned a lot in Uppsala and it made me more prepared for my current job at Eurofins Proxy, where I work with analysing raw materials for medicines, she says.
Evelyn did her degree project in Professor Jonas Bergquist's group in analytical chemistry at the Department of Chemistry - BMC, Uppsala University. Her supervisor was Kumari Ubhayasekera.
