Catalogue of books from Riga now available
For three years, librarians at the National Library in Riga have cataloged the books from the Jesuit College's library in Riga that were brought to Sweden in 1621. Now this catalog is available as a database through the website of the National Library in Riga.
Gustaf II Adolf donated the books from this library to the newly founded Uppsala University Library. Read more about the books here: Riga Jesuit Library
This new database can also be used as a catalog of the Riga books at Uppsala University Library, as only a part of these books are cataloged in the Swedish library catalog Libris and the university library's library catalog Disa. In the database there are also links to the volumes from the collection that have been digitised and available in the database Alvin.
