Erika P Björkdahl, Associate Professor of Private Law and Director of the Institute for Real Estate Law Research (IFF), has been appointed by the government to be a member of the Swedish Estate Inspectorate's disciplinary committee.
The Swedish Estate Inspectorate (FMI) is a supervisory authority for the real estate industry, which has the task of controlling that realtors are registered and perform their assignments correctly.
Within FMI, a disciplinary committee decides in cases whether a broker or brokerage company should receive a disciplinary sanction. The decisions may be of interest in principle.
Erika P Björkdahl’s assignment ends on 31 December 2023.
