Welcome to the 2023 Alumni Day on 11 May!

Each year, the Uppsala Lawyers Alumni Foundation organises an alumni day to offer currently working lawyers the opportunity to participate in an exciting and relevant seminar programme. During the day, the winners of the best master of laws thesis also present their essays.
This year's Alumni Day will cover the following topics (in Swedish):
- Law making in modern society
- The perception of the boundary between law and politics - how different is the situation in the US?
- Is Section 36 of the Contract Act applied too restrictively or generously in commercial disputes?
- Liability for consequential damages under the Sale of Goods Act and under standard contracts
- Serious crimes in international and internal conflicts: what are the conditions for prosecution - nationally and internationally?
During the day, the winners of the Alumni Foundation's Best Thesis Award will also present their essays, and the award will be presented at a banquet in the evening.

Students attend the seminars in free of charge and no pre-registration is required. Subject to availability, students also attend the evening banquet free of charge.
