The first selection round for admissions to this autumn’s courses and programmes is now complete. The total number of admissions to Uppsala University amounted to 66,427, 7 percent higher than the number of applicants for autumn semester 2023, which was 62,068.

Campus Gotland has 6,301 admissions, a decrease of 5 percent compared with last autumn, when Campus Gotland had 6,657 admissions after the first selection round.

Individuals may have been admitted to multiple courses or programmes, which is why the number of admissions does not match the number of people. This is different than the Swedish Council for Higher Education’s statistics, which counts the number of individuals rather than the number of admissions.
