For many years now, each year’s Nobel Laureates have been invited to Uppsala University in connection with the Nobel Prize ceremonies. The programme for their visit includes much-appreciated and well-attended public lectures given by the laureates themselves.
This year, three Nobel Laureates will travel to Uppsala on 13 December to talk about their research. Gary Ruvkun (physiology or medicine) and John M Jumper (chemistry) will give a lecture in the Grand Auditorium. Simon Johnson (Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel) wil give a lecture at Ekonomikum.
All are welcome to come and listen. The lectures will also be live-streamed online. As the lectures attract many listeners, it is advisable to arrive in good time.
