The first selection round for admissions to spring semester 2025 is now complete. The total number of admissions to Uppsala University is 59,322, compared with 56,724 admissions in the 2024 spring semester, an increase of 4.6 per cent.

Campus Gotland has 6,043 admissions, a decrease of 6 percent compared with last year, when Campus Gotland’s programmes had 5,700 admissions after the first selection round.

A person can be admitted to several courses/programmes, so this is not the same as the number of admitted students (individuals). This is different than the Swedish Council for Higher Education’s statistics, which counts the number of individuals rather than the number of admissions.
