Smoke development in English Park Campus

At 11.30 am on Saturday 4 January 2025 Rescue and Emergency Services (Räddningstjänsten) were alerted to one of the University's buildings in the English Park campus due to smoke.

Uppsala University is cooperating with Rescue and Emergency Services, who are on site investigating the cause of the smoke.

Update at 13:30: The cause of the smoke has been found and rectified. There was no fire.
