Invitation to the webinar. Featuring a picture of the lecturer, other information provided in the text.

The importance of fish as experimental animals is rapidly increasing. Zebrafish is now one of the most important vertebrate model organisms in biomedical research. However, other fish species are also important as models and the it is important to chose the best model for each biological question. Svante Winberg will present some of the teleosts used as experimental animals with focus on zebrafish. He will discus problems of rearing zebrafish and how rearing can be improved by optimizing fish densities, tank size and environmental enrichment.
