Within the project IEA SHC Task 59: Renovating Historic Buildings towards Zero Energy, a database was developed and implemented to show good examples of careful energy renovations. The objective of the proposed project is to investigate whether and how the existing database could become a long-term knowledge resource for Swedish end users. The goal is to deliver a proposal for implementation comprising:

• How the database can be financed and administered in the long term. The proposal must be rooted among the actors concerned.

• How the database can be continuously updated and quality assured.

• Adaptation of the existing database based on users' needs.
