Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC) are complex and the understanding of charge transfer and charge transport in the system is very important. In the project photoelectrochemical methods will be applied and developed to study the DSC solar cells. An improved basic understanding of the complex charge transfer processes in DSC will also identify the directions to the development of more efficient and stable solar cells using new materials and cells design. The projekt has a high scientific quality and a high relevance for the future energy system.
