SOLVE's contribution to the Nobel Symposium No 191
On 3-5 May we had the privilege of hosting Nobel Symposium No. 191: Efficient Light to Electric Power Conversion for a Renewable Energy Future supported jointly by both Nobel Committees for Chemistry and Physics. High-level scientists in the field were brought together to discuss and give talks on the topic.
The event was held at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study and the Ångström Laboratory at Uppsala University and was organized by SOLVE director Marika Edoff and Uppsala University vice-chancellor Anders Hagfeldt. Ellen Moons from Karlstad University, a partner in SOLVE, was on the local committee, chaired a section, and led a panel.
A full listing and abstracts for each talk as well as copies of the program may be found by visiting here.
At such an important event, we were honoured to take part and hope that discussions and ideas borne of it can contribute to developing sustainable energy solutions in the near future.
