At SciFest, visitors of all ages are given an opportunity to engage with research across many fields. Participants come from schools, universities, companies, museums and beyond - and the main aim is to encourage young people to ask questions, engage in research studies, and experience first-hand the excitement of science!

At the festival, SOLVE partners from Uppsala University showcased and explained a diverse range of enjoyable activities, all powered by solar panels. From solar-powered turtles and spinners to interactive exhibits like ball climbers, shaking bugs, and even demonstrations of technologies like capacitor charging and electrolyzer for hydrogen production, our displays not only entertained but also highlighted the exciting potential of renewable energy sources.
