SOLVE Project on Mathematics for Energy Systems: Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis

With the rise of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power, decentralized energy production poses grid management challenges. Karlstad University's mathematics project, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency through SOLVE, addresses these issues. Led by Prof. Adrian Muntean, PhD-student Nicklas Jävergård, and Asst. Prof. Grigor Nika, the project combines data-driven and theoretical strategies to propose control schemes for optimal energy management.
