First Prize Winner of MIT Energy and AI Hackathon
The team, consisting SOLVE's PhD student from Karlstad University, Amal Nammouchi, and some other Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), TU München university students won the first prize at the MIT Energy and Climate Hack.
Our research concepts within Theme 6: Planning for Large-scale Expansion were showcased through participation in the 2023 international competition hosted by the MIT Energy and Climate Hack. Notably, the team including SOLVE PhD student Amal Nammouchi emerged as the winner of the first prize. The team said, “Our solution, Unbiased Cathode, enables researchers to assess the supply chain implications of battery materials before development begins, hence reducing the lab-to-production timeline.”
